It's that time of year again to prepare for the La Plata County Fair - Photography Exhibit.   This event has always been one of the yearly highlights for the Durango Photography Club.     Not only do many of our members submit photos to exhibit, it's success has  always been dependent on the volunteer participation of our club members to setup/takedown the exhibit, and man the booth.

 

This photo exhibit is very popular at the Fair.  People from all over the county submit photos for display and, of course, delight in seeing all of the ribbons awarded to the best images in many categories.    Fair visitors love looking at the photos and learning about photography.   

 

This is a huge opportunity for our club membership to share their enthusiasm about photography.
