Durango Photography Club
As of now, the La Plata County Fair is scheduled for August 11-15, and plans to be open to the public. As of now, we will have a photo show, so folks need to be preparing prints if they want to enter.
Submittal criteria

You can submit up to 3 photos, any size, but no larger than 16"x20"x 3/8". (no frames), and NO watermark.

Choose your category carefully (categories listed below).

There is a new level "Professional", for those who sell their artwork professionally.

Prints should be on a mat board of some kind. No frames are allowed. Photos should be ready to hang. Hangers will be available on-site for a small fee, but entrants must be aware there is no guarantee that photos will not fall if hangers come of.

Check-in for photos will be Wednesday, August 11 from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.

Photo pick up will be Sunday, August 15 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Photos not picked up by this time will be left at the Fairgrounds and may be discarded by Fair Custodial Staff.
Also, we will need volunteers to help:

set up the show on Saturday, August 07 in the afternoon at a time TBD

to check in all day Wednesday the 11th and to break down the booth Sunday the 15th at 2:00 pm.

Volunteers will also be needed to man the booth during Fair hours to prevent theft/damage to the exhibit as well as to answer any questions about the Durango Photo Club

many volunteers will be needed Saturday night, the 14th to count the votes for the "People's Choice" Award.
In July, we will be sending out a Sign-Up Genius form that volunteers can use to sign up for their desired time.

Exhibit will be at th Farmington Gateway Museum. Opening day is August 7th, and the show will run until November 6th. Anyone interest should contact Jen Manganello. Jen_vanhaur@msn.com
Submittal dates: July 32st 10am-2pm and August 2nd 10am-2pm at the museum.
Guidelines:
3 photos per person 20" x 30" Maximum size per photo
If you wish to sell photo, the museum is charging a 25% commission. PRICE ACCORDINGLY.
