Cascade Canyon Hike

We will explore the snowy beauty that is Cascade Canyon.  This will be an advanced outing from a physical perspective.  Good boots and ice traction (micro spikes, crampons) are required.  Cascade Canyon is over 9000 ft so be prepared for cold, snowy and possibly windy conditions.  Trekking poles, water, a backpack with photo gear, and hand/feet warmers are highly recommended.  Although this hike is just about a mile one way, it can be dangerous on a nice clear day because of the steep grade and cliffside. It is more so in winter with the added ice and slipperiness. It requires a person to be physically healthy and stable.
