Bisti Badlands Sunset, Blue Hour & Milky Way Shoot--South Lot

Join us at the Bisti Badlands (South parking lot) for an sunset/blue hour/Milky Way photo shoot. MW will be out from around 10:26pm to when the moon rises at 11:40PM We will drive home after MW shooting is complete. We will carpool from Office Depot in Durango--we will depart at 2:30pm.

We will be meeting at the south parking lot called Alamo Wash (shown at the bottom of the map below). The area we are hiking to is called "Cracked Eggs". It's an easy approximately two mile hike. However, please make sure you have a hiking tracker app on your phone because it is easy to get lost in the hoodoos. We will try to stay together, but please do not rely on others for your safety. Also, do not rely on cell service as it is spotty in Bisti.
We will arrive around 4PM. Hike and scout until golden hour. Golden hour is at 7:55PM to 8:33PM, blue hour 8:52PM to 9:16PM, and night starts at 10:26PM. The Milky Way will be visible in an arch starting from 10:26PM until the moon comes up 11:40PM.
